Georgia Germond, born and raised in York, PA, is a graduate of William Penn Senior High School. She started her music training at the early age of four. Later living near Nashville, TN, she worked as a songwriter and studio musician, creating her own teaching program, “Little House of Music.” This book and 2-CD set was Grammy nominated for “Best Children’s Album” in 2002. Georgia has a teaching and a recording studio in Florida. She is a professional pianist, has written thousands of original songs, and is an Academy voting member for the Grammy Awards. Georgia is the proud grandmother of three granddaughters and one grandson. She coaches piano students and is the wealthiest woman in the world because every time she gets a hug from a student, it is worth a million dollars. Jeanne Bair Thomas was born and raised in York, PA. She is a graduate of the York City School District where she began playing the clarinet. While studying Early Childhood Education at the University of Maryland, she had the privilege of performing at Carnegie Hall and with the Baltimore Symphony as a member of the Chapel Choir. She returned to York, PA, and taught at Noel School and Montessori Children’s House of York. She has been married for forty-eight years and is the proud grandmother of four. Jeanne continues her love of music as a member of the York Hi Alumni Band.
