Monique Stein lives in Lancaster County, PA, with her husband, two sons, Clutch and a cat named Kitt. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Special Education and a Secondary Transition certificate, she now works as a Special Needs Educator. In September 2013, Monique and her boys traveled to York County to meet a Labradoodle puppy, and there was an instant connection. She and her sons trained Clutch as a team. It is with great joy that Monique is escorted daily by her fuzzy best friend, who continues to help students at the school where they both work.

Clutch is a service dog. What does that mean? Readers get to follow along with Clutch as he helps students at school in a variety of tasks.
